MP3: DJ Khaled's "Money" Ft. Young Jeezy and Ludacris

We are now at the finish line. DJ Khaled's Cash Money debut, We the Best Forever, is out next Tuesday. After many, many, many months of build-up since "Welcome to My Hood" entered our consciousness back in January, the roll-out has been steady.

Most will hold every Khaled track to come up against the star-studded "All I Do is Win" from last year's Victory. However, the impressive thing about "I'm On One," featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross, which dropped in May, is that it's relatively restrained (for a Khaled tune). Regardless, it's the highest-charting single of the Miami impresario's career. The third single, "It Ain't Over Till It's Over," is an upbeat Mary J. Blige special from the gritty concrete.

Compared to the party anthems just mentioned, a new leak from We the Best Forever -- "Money" featuring Young Jeezy and Ludacris over a Lex Luger beat -- is downright grim.

Unsurprisingly, this is a boast record about money. We'd use other words, but since it seems to be a case of telling as opposed to showing, there's not a ton of financial imagery in the place of just "talking about money."

"Mo' money, mo' problems, so bring the problems," Khaled says at the end. Huh? Neither Jeezy nor Luda (who throws in references to the Incredible Hulk and Jolly Green Giant to prove his liquidity) fully commit to this one, and the thing just drags to its close.

Anyhow, this is something you can ask Khaled about during his upcoming record signing at the Pembroke Pines Best Buy next Friday, July 22
