Kanye Performs at the Thanksgiving Parade

Introduced by his favorite 'Today' host, Kanye West performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade atop the New York Daily News float.
West rocked a fur jacket, gold chains and leather pants, as he sang 'Lost in the World" from his critically acclaimed album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.'
Earlier this month, West announced he wouldn't be returning to the 'Today' show, after his notorious interview with Matt Lauer.

Kanye West had a Twitter meltdown yesterday surrounding a taped appearance on the 'Today' show. This morning, we got to see what all the fuss was about.

In a fairly standard interview, Matt Lauer asks West about his "George Bush doesn't care about black people" line from 2005 and the Taylor Swift-VMA incident that got cries of racism flipped on Kanye himself.

While producers ran a clip of Kanye's microphone-grabbing stunt at the 2009 VMAs, the rapper stopped talking mid-sentence.

"Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you gonna run this thing in the middle, while I'm talking?" an affronted West asks. "Please don't let that happen again, it's like ridiculous."
Lauer stood by the interview in a closing segment, saying: "It's something we do every day -- when a guest is talking about an incident or a location, we run video of that," Lauer says. "There was nothing improper about it, nothing unusual about it whatsoever."

"I'm not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons," he wrote, adding, "I blatantly said I'm not performing on a tweet and to everyone around me and the next day they still announced a performance."

MTV's Give's Kanye West's 'Monster' Video The' OK'

The video for Kanye West's song "Monster" hasn't even been formally released and it's already courting controversy.
While there have been reports that MTV banned the video in light of complaints regarding its portrayal of women, the network says that hasn't happened.
In what appears to be an unfinished video for the song - which also features rappers Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj - West is seen lounging with the bodies of lifeless women and holding the bloody, decapitated head of a woman. The video has been making its rounds on the Web for a few months.
Melinda Tankard Reist and Sharon Haywood started a petition asking West's label not to release the video and MTV to not air it.

Behind The Scenes Kanye West Monster Music Video Feat. Rick Ross, Jay-Z Nicki Minaj

"I’m not interested at all in going after Kanye West for the sake of it," says a note on Tankard Reist's website. "That would be very boring. It specifically relates to the carnival of carnage he has created, the ‘rape scenario set to a soundtrack’, the idea that torture porn is sexy. We are targeting what he has created and the message it sends and the harm this causes."
However, MTV has clarified that the video has not been banned.
"MTV has not banned Kaye West's 'Monster' video," a spokesperson for MTV told CNN. "We have been in constant communication with the label regarding this matter. However, we are still awaiting the edits we requested in order for the video to be suitable for broadcast."

Video: Kanye West 'Today' Show Interview

Kanye West is pissed. Not, this time, at George Bush, but at Today Show host Matt Lauer, who interviewed the star Wednesday morning. In the interview, Kanye backpedals on his notorious 2005 statement that Bush "doesn't care about black people," saying he "didn't have the grounds" to call Bush racist after Hurricane Katrina, and the former president said he appreciates West's sentiment. (Bush appeared live on the show, while West's interview was pre-recorded.)

Kanye West Fans React To Controversial

Kanye West's new album art shows off nipples, fangs and angel wings. Now the rapper is suggesting that major retailers have been showing no love whatsoever to the disc, banning it from their stores, a claim that may or may not be true.
Although media reports suggest no ban has been instituted and outlets like Walmart have not returned MTV News' request for comment, what is clear is that the cover is a polarizing one. On the streets of New York City, West fans were split over the cover for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which depicts two figures, one white and one black, in the nude and seemingly engaged in intercourse.
"I think it's provocative," Arrash Jalali told MTV News. "Definitely challenges the viewer to look a little bit deeper and wonder why he chose to portray such a provocative image for an album."
Sharaya Means, meanwhile, was only wondering one thing: "What was he thinking? Because it's very explicit. Not good at all, very nasty."
West's label, Island Def Jam, was reportedly concerned about the album art but ultimately told the rapper "the label would stand behind him" no matter what.
Some fans argued that West selected the art for the simple sake of being provocative. "I think he's out of big statements to say so he's trying to come with something that's going to stir it up a little bit, keep that hype going," Greg Moncada said.
And if Walmart does end up banning the album, Sade Pilot has one idea of how to censor the art. "Maybe you should give him a gun instead of a beer bottle," she suggested, alluding to a bottle the illustrated male figure holds. "I know they sell guns at Walmart, right?"

The flick has been dubbed a "visual accompaniment" to Kanye's forthcoming LP, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (which drops November 22). Right before the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, where 'Ye debuted "Runaway,"   MTV gave fans a taste of the movie with an exclusive preview during the VMA pre-show. The clip featured prancing deer, a nimble dancer and Kanye West hauling away a woman swathed in feathers from a fiery explosion.
A few days after the VMAs, Yeezy explained the concept of the film and said he related to the movie's theme of redemption.
"It's the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world," he told New York magazine. "I've been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It's been in my heart for a while. It's maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person."

Rose recently attended the Maxim's Hot 100 party and when asked about her feelings about the work Kanye has done on his upcoming album, she was forbidden from asnwering any questions.
A representative for West and Rose told Rap-Up magazine, "Kanye has a gag order on Amber Rose. She just told us she doesn’t do interviews. But she was still cool about it.”

West takes down violent web videoWatch it Here

Rap star Kanye West has apologised to fans after he removed a video directed by Spike Jonze from his website
The 14-minute video - titled We Were Once A Fairytale - features West acting the part of a drunken club-goer, harassing women and stumbling around.
It culminates in a brief sex scene before West is seen stabbing himself and releasing a demon from his stomach.
West's blog says: "Sorry I had to take it down." It is not known why the video was removed.
However, copies of the short film, which feature's West's track See You In My Nightmares, have appeared elsewhere on the internet.

Controversial behaviour
Earlier this month, the rapper cancelled his North American tour with Lady GaGa at short notice.
The move came just weeks after he was criticised for storming on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
West experienced widespread negative publicity after interrupting country star Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the cermony.
He told her Beyonce should have won the best female award instead.
No reason has given for the tour cancellation but West has admitted he needed to take time off to grieve for his mother, who died two years ago after complications during surgery.
Since Donda West's death, the star frequently broken down on stage while performing Hey Mama, a song he had dedicated to her.
Last year's sombre 808s and Heartbreak album dealt with both the loss of his mother and the recent break-up with his fiancee, Alexis Phifer.
The movie: ‘We Were Once A Fairytale’ – Starring Kanye West; Directed By Spike Jonze
“In the film, Kanye plays himself drunk at a club acting belligerent and boastful, telling starstruck club-goers that the song playing in the club is his. He wanders into a side room where he encounters a beautiful woman. They start having sex and then he passes out on her leopard print dress. When he comes to, he finds himself in the VIP room with his pants down – he was hallucinating and fucking the pillow. The realization startles him and he rushes to the bathroom where he vomits what look like rose petals.
Then it gets weird.
Kanye finds a bowie knife in the bathroom and cuts into his stomach, spilling a torrent of more petals. He digs in the knife deeper and then with his hand rips out a small furry rodent, like a demon, only its quite cute. When Kanye realizes it’s connected to him with an umbilical cord, he pulls it hard, ripping it out of him for good. He then puts the demon on the sink and hands him a tiny bowie knife to fit the critter’s scale who then uses it to class commit hari kari.”

So Icy: An Ode to Diamonds

There are not many things in our current economy that are recession proof, but the ice on a chain can outlast any tough time. Although talking about ice, bling, freeze or whatever else people are coming up with to call their beloved girl’s and guy’s best friend is now a dying fad, it is fun to look back on the good times. When musicians had nothing else to talk about expect the temporary blindness they incurred as a result of their jewelry addiction, fans were wishing for the Robin Leech lifestyle with a few cold pebbles to match. Although denial is usually not a good look, we are going to take some time to flip the bird to this recession and talk about the best songs that rep for unnecessary extravagance in addition to giving a nod to the cold weather thats on its way. Ice talk can bring a smile to any one’s face.

Kanye West Drops Pastelle Fashion Line Like It's (Not) Hot

Earlier in 2008, late Summer to be exact, we were graced with a preview of Kanye’s highly anticipated clothing line, Pastelle. Pastelle or Past Tell was scheduled to be unveiled in the Spring of 2006, but there were slight changes made due to Mr. West not feeling comfortable with the progress.
As with his music, the ‘Louis Vuitton Don’ wants to ensure that he has the suitable partnership for success and quality of his collection.
And Now
Welcome to Bummertown, population: Kanye West. How does the world not love him, let us count the ways.
Ever since the "Heartless" one interrupted teen queen Taylor Swift's moment of VMA glory he's really caught a bad one. First, his highly anticipated (if hard to imagine going off without a hitch) tour with Lady Gaga got canceled
Then, after some erratic behavior had been reported here and there (and on, um... TMZ), Kanye skipped out on the BET Awards. The show, which was taped this past weekend, would've seemed like a logical place to find West, who was nominated for nine awards, but he was a no-show.

Now, in the wake of rumors that Yeezy has jetted off to India to find himself, dude's clothing line has been discontinued. His Pastelle line will apparently never see the light of day. (Or, it'll just haunt some dusty TJ Maxx racks.) Here's hoping for happier days for the dude. Despite what you might think of his personality/public displays of speech-making, he's still a much-needed voice out there in pop

AND HE LOOK GAY IN THIS PIC LOL

Kanye West and Lady Gaga Tour Canceled?

According to reports, the Kanye West and Lady Gaga Fame Kills tour may be over before it even started. The 34-date mega tour is supposed to kick off on Nov. 10 in Phoenix, Ariz., but sources say Lady Gaga's camp is apprehensive given Kanye's image following his now-infamous outbreak at the MTV Video Music Awards. The decision will allegedly be made in the next 24 hours.

Lady Gaga's rumored concerns seem surprising, since she was a vocal supporter of Kanye post the VMAs. "I would say he's a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so f---ing bad," she said, in an interview. "He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff. If you listen to the radio right now, with the exception of myself, really, and Taylor Swift, Kanye is responsible for everything we're listening to."

The multi-platinum singer/songwriter previously leaked information regarding the format of the show, saying: "The storyline is that Kanye is on one end of the stage and I'm on the other, and the whole show, we are trying to get to where each other is," she said. "I want something that he has, which is the fame, and he wants something that I have, which is home, and my humble beginnings. So we battle each other throughout the entire performance to steal each other's spaces. So I'm essentially on a quest to kill Kanye West, to steal his fame."

We're not going to pretend to be the most vocal supporters of Kanye, but it would be a shame for this tour to be canceled.
Anybody who has bought tickets through Ticketmaster knows how painful seemingly arbitrary fees feel. At least Live Nation is being upfront: if you're a superfan, you have to pay to be one.
Maybe gives you a little preview of the Ticketmaster/Live Nation merger. Get excited!

Kanye Spazzes Out Again at Common's Charity Concert

That Hoe Messing Up His Head Poor Kanye

Apparently, Kanye West's character-check getaway isn't going too well.
According to reports, the rapper showed up over the weekend to Common's highly publicized benefit show at the Hollywood Palladium, and threw another one of his egotistical tantrums backstage.
The rapper was allegedly upset over his not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man eating chicken, West blurted, "Why wasn't I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating... why am I not eating?"
When the waitress explained that he never asked for food, 'Ye yelled, "Well, I'm asking now!" After receiving chicken, he allegedly proceeded to take a bite and then throw the rest in the trash. Meanwhile, the rapper's beau Amber Rose, stood silent, while other celebrities backstage watched in awe.
Other guests that night included Nas, Ludacris, Mos Def, De La Soul, Heavy D and Queen Latifah.

Kanye's Backstage Clash with Taylor Swift's Mom

Update
Minutes after Kanye West stormed the stage as she accepted her Video Music Award, a teary-eyed Taylor Swift pulled herself together to perform her award-winning song, "You Belong With Me," atop a cab parked in front of Radio City Music Hall.

But West only continued the drama by angering the entire Swift family. After Swift's mother, Andrea, asked to speak to the rapper and, a source tells PEOPLE, "tore into him," the rapper continued to maintain that Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" should have won Best Female Video instead and made no formal apology.

Kanye West to Appear on Jay Leno Tonight

After his tirade at last night’s MTV VMAs, Kanye West may have a chance to defend his actions on the premiere of Jay Leno’s new show.

Jay-Z is scheduled to play on tonight’s debut episode (September 14) and he is set to bring out Rihanna and Kanye to perform their hit single, “Run This Town” from his latest disc, The Blueprint 3. As of press time it is uncertain if Leno will have Jay, Ye and Rihanna on the couch to speak on the awards ceremony.

As previously reported, Kanye bumrushed the stage as Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video award, beating out Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies.” Ye took the mic from Swift, declaring that “Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all-time.”

After the unpopular outburst, MTV asked Ye and his girlfriend Amber Rose to leave the show. Shortly after returning home, the outspoken rapper apologized to the pop singer on his blog.

Swift wasn’t the only star to be interrupted. Lil Mama hopped onstage unannounced during Jay-Z’s closing performance of “Empire State of Mind” with Alicia Keys. Although Hov brushed her aside as she tried to steal the spotlight, the young New York femcee held her ground, appearing alongside the duo for their closing B-boy stance.

The Jay Leno Show debuts tonight at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.

Music world slams Kanye West over awards outburst

That Was wron! What The Hell Is Wrong with Him He Must Have Just Hit Some Fire LOL

Pop stars slammed Kanye West on Monday after the rapper shocked the MTV Video Music Awards by crashing the stage during teen star Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.
West stunned audience members during Sunday's extravaganza in New York after rising country star Swift, 19, won a statuette for best female video for her hit song "You Belong With Me."

Soon afterward, West was escorted from the building.
Later in the show, after Beyoncé won Video of the Year for "Single Ladies," she graciously invited Swift onstage, waiving her acceptance speech so Swift could belatedly complete hers.
"Thank you," Beyoncé said. "This is amazing, I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child, it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment. "

'Ye might have finally come up with the one look almost everyone can agree was bad.  Even Beyonc'e Looks Scoked

Even West's apology later in the night didn't change the mind of Janeinsane. This Is What He Wrote In His Blog
