Two months after being sent back to rehab at the Betty Ford Center, Lindsay Lohan has gotten herself into a little bit of a scuffle.

The Mean Girls star is being investigated by police after allegedly assaulting a female employee at the clinic.

The staffer scolded Lohan after allegedly returning home late from a bar, TMZ reports. A source says that Lohan denies pushing the employee first, but the staffer wants Lindsay prosecuted for battery.

Now, Lindsay is demanding that the center take action against the employee and that the staffer was instigating her push, berating her and grabbing her.

Lindsay Lohan in court today. There are no cameras allowed inside the court room, unfortunately. Lindsay arrived with her mom and her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, 25 minutes before the 8:30 a.m. PST hearing.

The judge wants her in rehab beyond the holidays, because he fears that she would relapse on Christmas or New Year’s. Also, everyone who was in court says that Lindsay still looks like hell.

At 9:52 PST Lindsay left the courthouse without her lawyer and without Dina - she was flanked by people from Betty Ford, and the belief is that she’s going straight back into rehab.

Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend believes her problems are due to her fame. British model Calum Best admits he is concerned about the "Mean Girls" actress' recent struggles, which includes her having to wear an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet and her father Michael Lohan alleging she is addicted to prescription drugs, and believes she would be able to recover if she took time out of the spotlight.

"I wish her the best and she's a lovely girl," Calum, who dated Lindsay for several months in 2007, told BANG Showbiz. "But the problem is sometimes people who are that famous get so hounded and stuck in the limelight that they don't get a minute to breathe and it can be really overpowering."

Despite feeling sorry for his former lover, Calum has no plans to meet up with her when he goes to the U.S. later this summer as he thinks she would be a bad influence on his new lifestyle. Speaking at the launch of Samsung's Galaxy 5 mobile phone at London's Altitude bar, he added, "I won't be catching up with Lindsay."

"I'm moving onwards and trying to get on with my own life. I'm laying low and staying out of the nightclub scene that kind of screwed my life up. It's all getting better now. I'm trying to come back strong and make myself and my family proud."

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to appear in court on Friday following media reports that she may have violated the terms of an alcohol education program imposed for a 2007 drunk driving case.

Lohan, 23, risks being sent to jail if she is found to have broken her probation or other orders imposed as part of her sentence.

Beverly Hills Superior Court judge Marsha Revel told Lohan to attend Friday's normally routine hearing in person, court officials said.

Celebrity web site TMZ.com said officials running the alcohol education program had expressed concern about Lohan to the court.

In August 2007, the "Mean Girls" actress was ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program, serve 24 hours in jail and perform 10 days of community service while on 36 months probation for drunk driving, reckless driving and driving under the influence of cocaine.

Lohan found fame as a child star in the 1988 movie "The Parent Trap," but went onto become one of the most troubled and talked-about teen stars in Hollywood.

Earlier this month fashion critics panned her debut collection in Paris as artistic advisor to the Emanuel Ungaro fashion house. Lohan told People magazine on Wednesday that she was still learning and blamed the Paris fiasco on "coming in so late and not having that much time to do a whole collection."

Days after Michael Lohan spoke out about his famous daughter Lindsay's addiction to prescription drugs, comes word that the entire Lohan clan wants to stage an intervention for the troubled starlet.
"I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone…over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be doing things in a pretty public way," Michael told RadarOnline.com. "But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It's a serious situation. You can't just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing."
Michael previously revealed what has been the cause of his daughter's downward spiral and gaunt appearance.
"I'm going to get her off the prescription drugs that she's on," he claimed. "I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse... because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson."

He added, "You know why Lindsay's not acting in feature films right now? Because she can't. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs. She can't be herself. When you hug her she's like, vacant inside."
According to a source, the 23-year-old actress has been relying on a multitude of prescription medications, including Adderall (used for Attention Deficit Disorder), the anti-depressant Zoloft, anti-anxiety and bi-polar drugs.
Despite the backlash from those who say Michael is betraying his daughter's privacy by speaking to the media, Papa Lohan is confident in his parenting skills.
"When Lindsay doesn't adhere or listen to what I say about serious situations, I feel I have to speak publicly to put pressure on her," he said. "If she doesn't take my advice and do what I say…the more pressure I put on her, the more likely she is to eventually do the right thing."

Lindsay Lohan was reportedly escorted off the premises of a New York hotel on Thursday night (17Sep09) after police were called in following a bust-up with her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
The actress was at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan when a heated fight is said to have broken out between her and Ronson.
According to Hollyscoop.com, cops responded to a call by hotel staff after Lindsay Lohan allegedly "threw a room service tray at what she thought was her girlfriend's door" during the altercation.
However, the flying missile slammed into the wrong door - and the website claims Lindsay Lohan had to be removed from the hotel grounds after staff received a number of complaints from other guests.
