The rumors are true. Suge Knight will officially be extending a helping hand to Waka Flocka Flame’s career. Knight will be assisting Waka in overseeing his Brick Squad Monopoly West record company, as well as brokering movie deals for the animated rapper, Waka confirmed with XXL.

“It’s valid. It ain’t no rumors. It’s what it is,” Waka said about working with the Death Row Records co-founder. “You gotta really start pulling in people in the game who know the game. Suge is not the only one. I’ma start snatching in the real ones. Suge helped me get a good movie deal. Now I need to get on the TV screen. Ain’t nothing wrong with fuckin’ with some Gs. I fuck with Master P too. They’re just good for information, homie.

“He’s helping me oversee the company,” Waka added about Knight. “I’m not trying to be ‘Pac, I’m not trying to be Death Row. I’m Brick Squad Monopoly. My mother is still my manager. I ain’t changing shit. It is what it is. But it’s like having Jordan and Kobe. Why not play with both?”

Waka also shared that he’ll be releasing two mixtapes tomorrow. One called Lock Out with French Montana and the other is Waka Flocka James 3 which features Brick Squad Monopoly members Whooh Da Kid and Slim Dunkin. Waka’s next solo LP is due later this year as well. Still, the Atlanta transplant has higher aspirations than just rapping.

French Montana has revealed that he and Waka Flocka Flame are joining forces to release a collaborative LP titled Lock Out. According to French, the album will hit stores in five weeks and the first single will be titled "I Want It."

 Wacka Flocka revealed a lot about himself and in a recent interview with the Source magazine. He gave a lot of insight into the dumbed-down flow that dominates rap in the music industry. He admitted that he can't rap or freestyle and apparently doesn't want to. "I can't even listen to my music all day, I'd be hype as f**k all day...I wanna listen to a ni**a that can really rap so I can sit in the car and ride to it." He compared himself really rhyming hot lines to traffic, saying its so many people "super better" than him that if he tried to rap he'd have to get in the back of that line. He said that's like getting stuck in Rush hour traffic when he could just take a "short cut" and create his own lane by doing what he does. What exactly does Wacka Flock do if he admits that he can't rap? "I came to get your party started. I'm like Kid N Play, I just come to get your party started. I ain't come to make lines, that's what rappers' for. I'm a party starter...that's it. If your party's dead, I'm a come hype it up and leave."
