Sarah Palin Speaks Out on Oprah

Sarah Palin is back in the spotlight to promote her new book, Going Rogue, but oddly the most common person she is asked about isn't even named in the memoir — Levi Johnston!

"It's kind of heartbreaking to see the road he is on right now," Sarah told Oprah Winfrey of her daughter's baby daddy who just posed for Playgirl. Sarah said Levi hasn't seen his son Tripp in a while but that he is welcome at the family's Thanksgiving dinner. Whether he comes or not, Sarah said she continues "to pray for Levi."

The former Alaska governor and former Republican vice presidential candidate also opened up about having a child with Down's Syndrome. She said that when she found out Trig would have special needs, she began to understand why some women choose to have abortions but did not waiver in her pro-life stance. "There are less than ideal circumstances in our lives. It's how we will react to them," she said. "And make the most of what we've been given. What I have been given is a gift."

As for losing the election along with John McCain, Sarah doesn't blame herself. "The reason we lost is because the economy tanked," she said. "People were sincerely looking for change ... Our ticket was perceived as status quo."

Weigh In: Is Sarah more likeable now than when she was running for Vice President? Will you read her book?
