Lil Wayne's Daughter Banned From Visiting Him At Rikers Island (Story) And(PICS)

One day after after millions of men celebrated Father's Day, one dad in particular was not allowed to see their oldest child.
Antonia “Toya” Carter is confirming reports that she did not let her 12-year-old daughter visit her father Lil Wayne at Rikers Island prison and in fact, doesn't allow her to visit him at all.
Reginae Carter is the oldest of Lil Wayne's four children by four different women and according to her mother Toya, she will never visit the New York prison where her father is incarcerated.
Speaking in an interview with VIBE, Toya tells the publication that Reginae's not allowed to visit the facility, a decision she and Wayne made together.
“That's no place for a kid to go. [Wayne and I] just decided not to let her go [to Riker's Island] period. She's never been. He makes sure he talks to his daughter every day, talking and writing is enough."

Toya also adds that although Reginae's not allowed inside, she prepared Father's Day gifts for Lil Wayne that she would deliver before the mother and daughter duo spent the holiday together.
“[Reginae's] writing her father a letter and she took pictures for him. When I go visit, I'll bring it to him," says Toya. We may spend [the day] with my father or just together."

Porn star Devon James asks judge to 'establish paternity' of her son(Video)

A temptress took Tiger to court Thursday to prove he's the father of her cub.
Porn actress Devon James filed papers in Florida under her real name, Melinda Janette, asking a judge to "establish paternity" of her 9-year-old son - and named Tiger Woods as the respondent.
James made the move after TMZ.com reported that a DNA test done eight years ago on her son proved another man was his daddy.
The TMZ account is "false," a source close to the 29-year-old siren told the Daily News.
"The DNA test done in 2001 was on a man who is a white guy, a complete white guy," the source said. "His name is Matt. The test showed he is not the father, and Tiger has never taken a DNA test."
There was no comment from Woods, who is competing at Pebble Beach, Calif., in the U.S. Open after being battered for months by reports he cheated on his wife with a bevy of babes.
James claims she was 19 and working on a Christian charity project in Hawaii when she hooked up with Woods.
"She became pregnant, but she decided not to tell Tiger," the source said.
James claims she told Woods years later about their love child, Austin, when she was working as an escort and allegedly hooked up with him again for a "dirty" threesome, which earned her and the other gal $2,000 a piece.
"She and Tiger both recognized each other," the source said.
Woods, the source said, "was huge by then; he was married. Devon was afraid he would take her son away."
James didn't mention her son in March when she joined the parade of porn stars and party girls who claimed to be Tiger girls.
James' mother, Sandra Brinling, later called her daughter a "pathological liar" who was trying to squeeze Woods for money.
James is the second woman to claim she bore a Woods love child. Theresa Rogers said in December she had Woods' baby in 2004 and negotiated a multimillion-dollar settlement to keep it under wraps.

New claims for jobless benefits rise sharply

The number of people filing new claims for jobless benefits jumped last week after three straight declines, another sign that the pace of layoffs has not slowed.
Initial claims for jobless benefits rose by 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 472,000, the Labor Department said Thursday. It was the highest level in a month and overshadowed a report that consumer prices remain essentially flat.
First-time jobless claims have hovered near 450,000 since the beginning of the year after falling steadily in the second half of 2009. That has raised concerns that hiring is lackluster and could slow the recovery.
The four-week average for unemployment claims, which smooths volatility, dipped slightly to 463,500. That's down by 3,750 from the start of January.
A lack of robust job growth has kept the recovery from gaining strength. Kevin Logan, an economist with HSBC Securities, said many economists have been expecting claims to fall below 450,000 for several weeks now.
"The wait is getting longer and longer," said Logan. "As each week goes by, doubts about the underlying strength of the economic expansion grow."
Economists say they will feel more optimistic that the economy is creating jobs once initial jobless claims fall below 425,000 per week.
A separate Labor report said consumer prices fell for the second straight month. The 0.2 decline in the Consumer Price Index was pulled down falling energy prices -- most notably a 5.2 percent drop in gasoline prices. Declining energy bills were the main factor pulling down prices.
But core consumer prices, which strip out volatile energy and food, edged up 0.1 percent in May, after being flat in April. Core prices are up only 0.9 percent over the past year -- below the Fed's inflation target.
Additionally, the Commerce Department said Thursday that the broadest measure of U.S. trade rose during the first quarter to the highest point in more than a year. Much of the widening deficit was due to higher prices on imported oil during the first three months of the year. Those prices have since come down.
And a private research group said its gauge of future economic activity rose 0.4 percent in May, signaling slow growth in the U.S. economy through the fall. Turmoil in stock markets and a troubled housing market weighed on the Conference Board's leading economic index, while measures related to interest rates and an increasing amount of money in the economy tugged it higher. The index is designed to forecast activity in the next three to six months.
Still, layoffs remain one of the biggest concerns for the recovery. Just this week, casino owner Wynn Resorts laid off more than 260 workers in its two Las Vegas casino hotels in a move expected to save nearly $8 million.
The number of people continuing to claim benefits rose by 88,000 to 4.57 million. That doesn't include about 5.2 million people who receive extended benefits paid for by the federal government.
Congress has added 73 weeks of extra benefits on top of the 26 weeks typically provided by states. All told, about 9.7 million people received unemployment insurance in the week ending May 29, the most recent data available.
The extended benefit program expired this month. The House has approved an extension of the benefits through November. The Senate has yet to act.
On Wednesday, Senate Republicans and a dozen Democratic defectors rejected a catchall measure combining jobless aid for the long-term unemployed, aid to cash-strapped state governments and the renewal of dozens of popular tax breaks. Despite the loss, Democratic leaders predicted that a scaled-back version of the measure could pass, possibly later this week.
Adding to worries about the job market, the Labor Department said earlier this month that the economy generated only 41,000 private-sector jobs in May. That was down from 218,000 in April.
Temporary hiring by the Census Bureau added another 411,000 jobs. The unemployment rate fell to 9.7 percent from 9.9 percent.

Ex-Boyfriend Believes Lindsay Lohan's Problems Are Due to Her Fame

Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend believes her problems are due to her fame. British model Calum Best admits he is concerned about the "Mean Girls" actress' recent struggles, which includes her having to wear an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet and her father Michael Lohan alleging she is addicted to prescription drugs, and believes she would be able to recover if she took time out of the spotlight.

"I wish her the best and she's a lovely girl," Calum, who dated Lindsay for several months in 2007, told BANG Showbiz. "But the problem is sometimes people who are that famous get so hounded and stuck in the limelight that they don't get a minute to breathe and it can be really overpowering."

Despite feeling sorry for his former lover, Calum has no plans to meet up with her when he goes to the U.S. later this summer as he thinks she would be a bad influence on his new lifestyle. Speaking at the launch of Samsung's Galaxy 5 mobile phone at London's Altitude bar, he added, "I won't be catching up with Lindsay."

"I'm moving onwards and trying to get on with my own life. I'm laying low and staying out of the nightclub scene that kind of screwed my life up. It's all getting better now. I'm trying to come back strong and make myself and my family proud."

Miley Cyrus Calls Perez Hilton An 'Idiot' For Posting Pantyless Photo (AUDIO LINK)

Miley Cyrus is firing back at blogger Perez Hilton for posting a photo of the 17-year-old Disney star that could potentially be considered child pornography."That's like, some idiot being an idiot -- that's not me, you know what I'm saying?" Cyrus told radio host Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday (June 15), during an interview to promote her soon-to-be released album, "Can't Be Tamed.""Isn't it funny how things that are so negative have to come out right before my record?" Cyrus added. "It's like, no one can just let a positive thing happen. All I can do is focus on the positive and that I hope this record does well."On Sunday, Hilton used his Twitter account to post a photo of Cyrus exiting a car and implied that she was not wearing underwear. Media reports have since speculated that if this was the case, Hilton could be charged with distribution of child pornography.Hilton has since downplayed the controversy in a video post on his website, saying, "Do you think Miley is that stupid to be out in public without panties? Do you think I am stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she is not wearing any underwear down there?"Cyrus, whose "Can't Be Tamed" album is due June 21, has herself faced criticism in recent weeks for her a more sexually provocative image. The "Hannah Montana" debuted her revamped look in the music video for the album's title track, and on a recent "Britain's Got Talent" performance, she pretended to kiss one of her female dancers."My record is not provocative," Cyrus insisted to Seacrest when he asked her how she felt about the criticism. "If you're buying that, you're not buying whatever somebody with no life [does]."

Drake Projected to Sell 450-475K

It might not be a milli, like his Young Money mentor Lil Wayne, but Drake is apparently on track to sell about 450,000 to 475,000 copies of his highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later, in his first week in stores.
Industry insiders, hitsdailydouble.com, tabulated the T.Dot talent’s one-day sales to come up with their projections. The official numbers will not be available until next Wednesday, June 23.
XXLMag.com recently caught up with frequent collaborator Bun B to find out his estimates on Drizzy’s first week numbers. “It’s gonna be a multi-platinum album,” he predicted. “First of all, let that be understood: it’s gonna be a number one album in several countries across the world. If he does less than 500,000 in the first week, somebody dropped the ball at Universal [Music].”

Riot Forces NYPD to Cancel Drake Concert (Videos) And Story

Tuesday night, a riot broke out at free Drake concert in New York City, where the Toronto rapper was set to celebrate the release of his debut album, Thank Me Later. The NYPD shut down the show and used Mace to stop fights between patrons, who threw bottles and chairs.
Thousands of people began congregating for the gig -- sponsored by Paper magazine and also featuring Hanson and Ninjasonik -- at 3 P.M. By the time the gig was scheduled to start, at 8 P.M., a crowd of around 25,000 packed the city blocks near South Street Seaport's Pier 17.
There were no regulated entrances to control fans, resulting in extreme congestion. Trying to find breathing room, concertgoers scaled various kiosks and overhangs, and crowded balconies above the shops and restaurants on the north side of the Seaport, to the left of the stage.
Local punk-rap outfit Ninjasonik tried to soundcheck, but, as member Jahjah tells SPIN.com, "the kids were too rowdy. You can't integrate a free show when a guy's album is dropping and have 15 security there." Soon after, the melee started with ballcap-sporting youths fighting near the stage; the scuffling quickly escalated into a massive brawl. Beer and water bottles flew, striking people in the crowd and up on the balconies. People on the balconies retaliated by tossing down metal chairs.
Police armed with batons stormed the area and used Mace on concertgoers who refused to disperse. Two police helicopters circled overhead with spotlights on the scene.
"This is fucking crazy. I was seriously scared for my life," said one fan, fleeing the scene. "We just wanted to see Drizzy perform. That's it."
Numerous patrons were seen seeking treatment in ambulances. CBS reported that two arrests were made. One officer was overheard advising a girl standing solo to "find and stick with your friends. This place is full of gang members. Don't be a victim."
Immediately after the fracas, Drake issued a statement: "I am humbled by the crowd that showed up in support of my performance and the release of Thank Me Later. I love performing for my fans but unfortunately the show was canceled by the NYPD due to over crowding, leaving me without the chance to give my fans a real show. I'm thankful for the support that the fans have been giving me... I thank you now."
Drake also tweeted, writing, "I'm disappointed. The police told me to turn around," and later, "To all the devoted fans that came out I wish you could have seen what I had planned! Until next time."

Perez Hilton,15 Years Over Miley Cyrus' Vagina? [PHOTOS] STORY

Perez Hilton might have to do a hard 15 years in prison for displaying an image of Miley Cyrus' alleged vagina over twitter. it all started when Miley Cyrus was getting out of a car and flashed her vagina Perez then posted an uncensored version of this picture. Now according to popeater.com Perez could be faces 15 years in jail.
At 17, Cyrus is still considered a minor, and the posting of the photo could legally constitute child pornography. Though Hilton pulled the photo down from his server, it was there long enough for many sites to take screengrabs of it.
“We’re not talking about a misdemeanor. You don’t have to know what the definition of the law is, all you have to do is knowingly distribute the photograph,” Los Angeles-based attorney Jeffrey Douglas told Salon. He went on to call Hilton’s decision to post the photo “suicidal.”
While some are asserting that the photo was doctored to falsely portray Cyrus as not wearing underwear, experts insist it likely won’t matter. Whether she was or wasn’t, the photo that Hilton posted would still fall under child pornography laws.
“That is still a crime and it is punishable just the same,” Douglas told Salon.
Salon asserts that if an attorney is so inclined to go after Hilton, “he could be prosecuted on the state or federal level — or both — with a conviction potentially resulting in a 15 year sentence and lifetime registration as a sex offender.”
Perez is in clean up mode now saying that Miley did indeed have on panties on the day in question, but honestly dealing with sexy women once they flash someone after going commando panties come out the purse and cover up the cat. Check out Perez Hilton's video response and more pictures of Miley Cyrus.

T.I. Talks About Snitching Allegations in XXL’s July/August Issue [With XXcLusive Pic]

The King is officially uncaged and in celebration of T.I.’s return from prison, he will be appearing on the cover of XXL magazine’s July/August issue.
In the revealing article, written by Ben Detrick, Tip denies the insistent rumors that he supplied the government with pertinent information in order to receive a shorter prison sentence for charges stemming from a 2007 arrest on federal gun charges. “There ain’t nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin’ I was on they paperwork,” the Atlanta-native told XXL. “Can’t nobody show you no paperwork with my name on it. Ain’t naan judge, ain’t naan D.A., ain’t nobody. But what troubles me is that there’s muth-afuckas out there talking ’bout they think or be-lieve I’m snitching, but riding around, smoking weed and drinking beer with muthafuckas who they know telling. But you want to sit back and talk shit about me on the computer.”
Besides clearing up snitching rumors, the southern rap giant also reflects on the content and direction of his new music, in light of his recent conviction. “I can talk about drugs and guns,” T.I. explained. “And I do. It’s just in a different way. I can go on a record and say whatever I want to say, but I just never done that. When T.I. was threatening you, whatever he was threatening you with, he had. Whatever it is he was saying would be done and could be done. He was telling the truth. Right now, for me to sit here and talk about having guns in my waistband would be a far cry from the truth. It’s not the case. It doesn’t feel like me to kick shit that ain’t a reality.”
In addition to the in-depth story on Tip, XXL’s new issue also includes stories on Miami Boss, Rick Ross, OutKast rap vet Big Boi and in honor of upcoming Independence Day, a package on hip-hop’s flourishing independent scene featuring such successful D.I.Y. acts as Murs, Tech N9ne and his Strange Music label and Duck Down Records.

Drake Explains Why Andre 3000 Turned Him Down; Shows Love To Aaliyah

It’s being called the biggest music release of the year. Indeed, Drake’s major label debut Thank Me Later, which hit shelves today (June 15), has received a level of excitement usually reserved for veteran superstar artists. But so far the Toronto MC has managed to hit the musical sweet spot by crafting songs that appeal to hipsters, hardcore hip-hop heads and female fans.
But there is one person that has yet to jump aboard the seemingly unstoppable Drake train: Andre 3000. “I really tried to do a song with Andre 3000, but I think it was meant for my second album,” Drake told VIBE on the eve of his release date. “Dre is one of those people that needs you to do a little more. He’s one of those people that believe in his craft so much that he needs you to do more than just be over hyped or just famous. In his mind, I have to prove myself and the truth is, I do. That’s just being real. I have a lot of work to do, so I actually respect him for that. I think on the second album I’ll probably only have two features. I have a few people in mind and Dre probably will be one of them.”
As for his current single “Find Your Love,” an R&B-laced track that managed to confound some critics and fans who were not expecting the popular rhymer to sing throughout an entire song, Drake says it's important that the public understands that he still represents hip-hop.
“That song means a lot to me,” Drake says of "Find Your Love." “It was just one of those things where it was a choice I made. I feel like I had a vision, so when the song dropped I already knew people were going to be like, “Man, what is this???” But I attached a visual to “Find Your Love” that I hoped explained it a little more. It’s on an album where there’s a lot of hip-hop. It’s almost too much rap on Thank Me Later [Laughs]. There are a lot of 32-bar verses. It’s hip-hop, man. Just a lot of me pouring my heart out. And that’s something I’m thinking about for my next album.
"I’m not saying I’m going to sing more, but I want to learn how to make better-structured songs that end sooner," he continues. "A lot of the songs on Thank Me Later go on for like five, six minutes. But it’s all good. There’s a lot of shit I had to say and people around me wanted to say things too from Jay-Z to Lil' Wayne…everybody has their 16 bars. It was just one of those projects.”
For his next single, Drake has settled on the Young Jeezy-featured track “Unforgettable,” a song that also serves as a respectful tribute to the late R&B princess Aaliyah. “It has an Aaliyah sample in it,” Drake says. “It’s a special record for me. I just love Aaliyah and I got the most feedback about that just being a feel good record. I just want to attach a visual to it and show how much I care about hip-hop...about music in general.”
But when it comes to his newfound fame, Drake is still getting used to the trappings of stardom. He credits his fans for seeing him through. “Right now, it’s hectic,” he says of the whirlwind attention that surrounds him. “I haven’t slept in like three days. I feel like everywhere I turn there are people who want me to perform or give them something. Right now it’s a little overwhelming, but I’m honored that people are excited. I just passed by a Best Buy and people are sleeping outside just to buy my album. I’m just trying to make it authentic for all my audiences.”

North Carolina man believes he spotted "Bigfoot beast"(Video)STORY

Tim Peeler thought he was calling coyotes, but he got something that frightened even this self-proclaimed North Carolina mountain man.
"Instead of them, there was him," he bellowed. "The thing was 10 feet tall with beautiful hair, yellowish hair and a yellow beard," said Peeler.
Sgt. Mark Self of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office remembers the sightings of a "Bigfoot Beast" when he was a child.

"It scared me," he recalled.
Self said people believed they saw a Sasquatch in the same parts of Cleveland County.
The reports were frightening to the then 10-year-old boy.
"It was killing animals and breaking into barns and killing chickens," he said of the reported stories.
Peeler says it's the same creature that he saw for himself just last week near his home atop a mountain in Casar.
He says the beast was approaching his dogs and got wrapped around their chains.
"I rough-talked him and said, 'You get away from here,'" he said.
Peeler says the beast eventually left, but then came back again.
"And I said, 'get, get,' and he went back down the path again."
Peeler said he called deputies and then filed a suspicious person report.
He is troubled that he didn't give a better description and was drawing a rendering of what he remembers.
"He looked like he had six fingers on each hand."
Reports of a Sasquatch aren't new to Cleveland County.
They date back to the 1970's, although deputies we talked to say they haven't heard the stories in years.
"This is totally blowing my mind," said Self. "But it doesn't bother me.
We're working up here so if we see something we'll try to capture it and take it into custody," he laughed.
As for the man making the latest sighting, Peeler says he realizes people may not believe his account.
He simply asks that you keep an open mind and not laugh at him.LOL

Gary Coleman's living will stated he be kept alive for at least 15 days on life support (VIDEO)

Gary Coleman's wife may have jumped the gun on pulling the plug.
The "Diff'rent Strokes" star's living will required the actor to be kept alive unless he was in an irreversible coma for 15 days, CNN reports.
Ex-wife Shannon Price, with whom Coleman was living at the time of his injury, reportedly ordered doctors to disconnect the actor's life support only one day after he fell into a coma last month following a fall that resulted in a brain hemorrhage.
Two years prior to his death, Coleman had signed a document in October 2006 naming Price as his medical decision maker. His living will stated that his life support should end if two doctors were consulted and decided "my condition is incurable, terminal and expected to result in my death within 12 months."
The 42-year-old actor also noted that he should be let go if doctors "have diagnosed that I have been in a coma for at least 15 days and that the coma is irreversible, meaning that there is no reasonable possibility of my ever regaining consciousness."
But according to a spokesman for the Utah Medical Association, a family member's wishes are more important that the deceased's living will.
Meanwhile, a judge has ordered that Coleman's remains are to be cremated by Wednesday afternoon.
Though the actor died on May 28, his cremation has been delayed because Price and Coleman's former girlfriend, Anna Gray, have been wrangling over his assets. Both women claim they are legal administrators of his estate as Gray is named in a 2005 will, while Price is named in a 2007 note that Coleman wrote to amend earlier wills.
A judge appointed lawyer Robert Jeffs to control Coleman's estate while the two women settle the dispute.
